At Bako Landscaping, our story begins with a shovel, a dream, and a deep love for the land. Since 1962, our family has proudly served the community with expert landscaping services rooted in tradition, hard work, and genuine care. What started as a small family operation has grown into a trusted name in outdoor design—still run by the same family, guided by the same values, and committed to the same level of craftsmanship and integrity.
From generation to generation, we’ve passed down not just tools and techniques, but a passion for helping people bring beauty and function to the spaces they call home. This is more than our business—it’s our legacy.
Peter currently serves Bako as the Operations Manager, but enjoys a hybrid schedule in and out of the field. Peter spent 4 years at the University of Akron, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing. Feeling led to come back to the family business, Peter has strong hopes to take over the business in the future. Peter enjoys spending time with his church family and weight
lifting when he can.
Jozsef currently serves Bako as the Owner and Lead Foreman. Jozsef and his late spouse, Susan, took over the business 20 years ago. Originally from Romania, enjoys activities like Pig Butchering and Sausage making. Jozsef has 3 children and is active in his church family.
Susan Kocsis proudly served Bako Landscaping for over 20 years as the Head of Operations. She was known by many customers to be kind, sweet, and agreeable. Her Christ-like example sets the foundation of what Bako Landscaping stands for.
